Desperate Housewives promo- August 21
I was walking on the street yesterday and walked past a laundromat and saw an incredibly offensive poster plugging the new season of Desperate Housewives. The lead women were in a laundromat totally sexed up and the tag line was "Time to Come Clean."
There was one man in the picture- he was bent over with his head in either a washing machine or a dryer with his ass crack basically hanging out AND Eva Longoria who was perched on top of the washer had her foot on him.
I couldn't stop thinking about that poster all day. It totally goes against everything that show is supposed to stand for- the women looked like sex kittens instead of the fully developed complicated women they supposedly are on the show.
Shame on ABC for that promo. I really found it offensive and believe that it will not appeal at all to women.
